Here you can explore and get to know me on more on a personal level rather than a professional one
Music
My number one passion is music. I grew up playing Classical piano and have since branched out and have been playing guitar since 2015. These days, I find that most of my time is dedicated to my new favorite instrument, experimenting with multiple genres. While I will always have a soft spot for Classical music, I have since come to love Jazz. A fan of 60's Jazz such as Ahmad Jamal's piano trio or Herbie Hancock's modern and funky grooves, I often find myself bobbing my head to this quintessentially American music. As of late, I have been branching out into many different styles such as R&B and Neo-Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, Blues, Djent Heavy Metal, Math Rock, and even Blue Grass. It is always a rewarding challenge to try and imitate my favorite bands and artists. Being a creative outlet, I enjoy playing guitar and piano often and use it as a way to hang out with friends.
Short Math Rock inspired tapping riff I made up followed up with the intro from Chon’s Bubble Dream.
Coffee
Among other things, one of my favorite things to do is to combine my two passions. It's hard to beat a day where I get to sit and play guitar or piano, all while sipping on some delicious coffee. Yes, I am what one might call a 'coffee snob,' though I firmly believe that there is nothing wrong with the large coffee store chains. Sure I may have my preferences, but who doesn't? I enjoy brewing my own coffee every morning and then sitting down, playing music either on my guitar or through my headphones, and just enjoying a full-bodied cup of black coffee. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a latte or cappuccino here and there, but my favorite has been and always will be black coffee.
